Great breakfast selection and friendly staff were the two best aspects of this hotel. The hotel's location in the university area meant it was easy to access public transport and popular attractions. the sauna was a nice amenity to enjoy after a long day of walking.
The noise of passing trains was a constant disturbance throughout the night, making it hard to get a good night's sleep. the area surrounding the hotel felt unsafe at night and there were disruptions from noisy, rowdy students.

Stylish, big room (No. 220 at the rear), very clean, friendly staff and superb breakfast!
Room was too warm (fan didn't work) and noisy when windows are opened (major freight-train line); otherwise quiet thanks to high-quality double glazing.

The reception was open 24/7 and the staff was friendly. Breakfast was good and plentiful.
Using the wlan was quite expensive.

Great value for money, large and comfortable rooms and a variety of delicious breakfast food. the staff was friendly and helpful. One advantage was being located close to public transportation and just a short distance from the city center.
The constant noise from the nearby train tracks was a bit bothersome throughout the night. the room lacked some amenities, such as shampoo and the quality of the towels could have been improved.

Friendly staff, nice rooms (well cleaned also), good breakfast, beds were absolutely fine (and although regularly trains are passing by, this was not disturbing)

It was a little noisy there, both from the nearby trains and you people in the halls

The hotel is conveniently located next to Koln Sud station, making it easy to access public transportation. the proximity to the railway track may cause some noise, but with a well-insulated room, this can be minimized. Despite being in a less desirable area, it is still close to the city center, allowing for easy exploration of the sights. the rooms are spacious, clean, and nicely furnished, providing a comfortable stay. the breakfast offers a wide variety of delicious options to start the day.
The service at the hotel could be improved with more attentive and welcoming staff.

Morning breakfast selection was great. Access to free wifi was very good to have. Staff was very helpful. Did not a chance to try out the spa and fitness but ordinarily that would have been a big plus for me.
Parking was not easy to find when i came in late in the evening.

Price 75 € for one night (excluded breakfast) looks fair for a 4 stars hotel. I would more rate this as a max 3 star hotel.
No restaurant

Its location is near to the university.
The facilities are not as I expected. Being a 4 star hotel, they do not have waiters to attend you at your room. Basic thing such as a toothpaste and toothbrush were missing.
